We are brother and sister, Garry and Emma Duxbury and have recently taken the reins at Duxburys; we are now focusing, more than ever, on bringing families together outdoors.

We have naturally progressed from being a traditional garden centre to being an outdoor, garden furniture specialist.

A lot of research and hard work goes into choosing our garden furniture ranges, from working well with our suppliers to listening to what our customers are looking for. Then, we only choose excellent quality, garden furniture, which is built to last. 

The majority of our orders come from word of mouth, and many of our customers are local to the area, but we also receive many orders from recommendations further afield. We have a lot of customers making the trip from quite far away, as we are close to the major motorways: M6, M65 & M61. 

We always advise you to make the trip and visit us if you can, to touch, feel and of course do the "bum test". Footfall is purposely low, ensuring that you have an enjoyable experience with no pressure. The quietest times are generally mornings Monday - Friday.

Our large, privately owned car park has extra-wide spaces and our displays are well spaced out and all on one level, making us wheelchair friendly.

On arrival, our customers are wowed by the large choice of garden furniture and often spend a couple of hours here, especially if they have made the trip over to us. We have a relaxing coffee lounge and we treat our customers to a delicious cup of coffee whilst they think about what is best for their family.

Our friendly team are always on hand with professional, but honest advice to help you find your perfect choice of garden furniture. Just remember to measure your space, including where you may have any objects in the way e.g. windows, trees or pots. Although a lot of customers generally have their preferred set in mind, we will always listen to your needs and give you our own suggestions that perhaps you wouldn't have thought of before.

Once your decision is made, we will contact you. If you are ordering online, we will thank you for your order with a phone call; this enables you to let us know anything should we need to, but also offers a friendly voice. 

We will also arrange a convenient Delivery day.  Orders within 100 miles are delivered in our very own Duxburys vans. Delivery is generally within 7 working days, but sometimes may be a bit longer, depending on the circumstances; we will always keep in touch.
